Website hosting
The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich in Germany. Requests to the server transmit technical data such as your IP address, time of access, requested page, browser information, and, where supplied, the referring page. These data enable delivery, security, and troubleshooting of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in a secure, reliable website. The hosting provider acts on our behalf. See ALL-INKL.COM privacy information.
Storage on your device
The site stores your chosen light or dark theme in localStorage under plotzydraft-theme. This preference remains until you clear it in your browser. The manual may also remember navigation or display preferences. These are used for the functions you request, not for advertising. Fonts and screenshots are served by this website. We do not embed advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Pages displaying prices load Paddle.js for localized prices and checkout. After checkout, sessionStorage briefly records a completion acknowledgement for the current environment; it is removed on the success page or when the tab session ends. It contains no license key or payment receipt.
Email support
If you contact us, we process your email address and the information you provide to answer your enquiry. Avoid sending a license key, payment details, or a private manuscript unless it is necessary for your specific support case. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries and Article 6(1)(f) for other support correspondence.
Paddle purchases
Loading Paddle.js and requesting prices sends technical connection data, including your IP address, to Paddle for localized prices and tax estimates. Checkout details, such as your email and billing address, go to Paddle. We receive order references, product and price identifiers, currency, totals, payment/adjustment status and the purchase email needed to issue and deliver your license. Our licensing server verifies Paddle notifications and retrieves the purchaser email from Paddle; license emails are sent through ALL-INKL.COM. We do not receive complete card details. Purchase and license delivery are based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; accurate price previews and abuse prevention on Article 6(1)(f). Paddle processes data under its own responsibility as described in Paddle’s privacy policy.
Local projects and activation
Your documents are saved as local Markdown files. Map layouts, preferences, recent file paths, backups, and diagnostic files may also be stored on your device. The core writing features do not upload your documents to us. A direct-license activation request sends your license key, purchase email, a device identifier derived using a hash, platform, and app version to api.plotzydraft.com. Activation records and technical security information are used to issue and protect the license; the signed license token is validated locally. Re-activation may be needed if no valid token is present. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b), and Article 6(1)(f) for abuse prevention.
Optional external connections
AI Assist is optional. If enabled and configured, your prompt and the context you select are sent directly to your chosen AI provider or model endpoint. Provider accounts, terms, privacy rules, and charges apply separately. A local-model option only stays local when you configure a local endpoint. AI credentials and job history are stored on your device; credentials use the operating system’s credential storage where supported. Loading remote images referenced in your documents also connects to the image host. If you use a sync service for local files, that service processes data under its own terms.
Retention
We retain personal data only for the purposes described above. Support correspondence is removed when the enquiry and necessary follow-up are complete, unless legal obligations or the establishment, exercise, or defence of claims require longer retention. License and order records are retained while needed to deliver and verify your license and for applicable statutory recordkeeping. Technical logs are retained only for operational security and troubleshooting; incident-related records may be kept until the incident is resolved. Local files remain under your control and can be deleted on your device.
Recipients and international transfers
Hosting and email providers may process data on our behalf. Paddle and providers you choose for optional features may process data outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy information explains the recipients and applicable transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. This launch website does not send your manuscript to those providers.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time for the future. You can complain to a supervisory authority, including Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen. Providing information for a purchase or support enquiry is necessary to fulfil that request; without it we may be unable to provide the license or assistance. We do not use this website to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
